checked my HF 6 ton jack stands and they aren't part of the recall. I guess the ones that were recalled have a very shallow tooth engagement on the pawl and are prone to slipping off. Fuck that noise, makes me want to get a new set anyway.

Looks like the law changed in 2013 to be a constitutional carry state.

I remember one of my cousins getting in trouble for carrying a loaded pistol in this glove box.

In some states, the first offense can be a misdemeanor.

In CA that's PC25850 for unlawful possession of a loaded firearm in public or in a vehicle.

I've got a CA CCW and they are not that easy to get. Our Sheriff is Ok with them. Most places aren't. It is valid throughout CA. Only really got it to have while going in the boonies. No more open carry in CA. Use to be you could have a firearm in your campsite. In your MH yes but otherwise it has to be concealed. Like Kwikvette says it comes with a lot of responsibility. It still is better to have a CCW than getting caught with an unauthorized concealed weapon. On that note I need to go to the range.

Thinking my next set will have the locking pins on them, the HF ones don't have that feature.

I have a set of 3 ton Craftsmans my brother gave to me when he moved, but they're not high enough to put under the frame. I use them for the rear axle but that's about it.

My next set will have 2 posts with 4 arms and a motor that has multiple locks at a large distance to move

I bought a set of 6 tons back in March and asked on here if anyone had this problem. Glad I wasn't the only one and I can take them back and get my money back. I think it was blue_92 told me about ones from northern tool that had locking pins in them for close to the same price. Think I'll be going that route now.

Check the serial number on the ones you got, not all of them from 2013 - 2020 are recalled. There's a good video that shows the difference between the good and bad ones.

    https://youtu.be/cwcWdKwPvhI

Mine aren't on the recall list but for the peace of mind I'm going to pick some up with locking pins. Since you bought yours in March though you might be able to return them regardless, not sure what the policy deadline is.

I got about 4 hours last night, sucked. Baby fell asleep around 9:30 in the living room with us watching TV, when we moved her to put her in her bed at 11pm she woke up and was wide awake until about 2am. Then woke up again for good at 6am. I'm tired AF right now lol.

ooof that sucks, sorry to hear that.

Be sure to get a good night of sleep tn (like I plan to reset with), or a nap sometime today. Worst thing you can do to yourself rn is wear yourself out, and get sick from it
