I have that for 37s. On 35s you'll probably still rub frame at full lock. I needed -20 on a 7.5wide to not rub frame. I see others doing -25,-30 on wider wheels. You could use a 1.25 spacer and be almost spot on for not rubbing frame. Or leave it and not rub firewall as much.

Man you don't rub with just a -6 and a 12.5 wide tire? I've got -12 and am just a finger widths away from my UCAs.

A lot depends on your suspension set up and wheel choice. I have to to clear my rear shocks so I run them up front to have the truck the same width all the way around.

Good to know. Long story short I’ll be getting a regear in a few weeks and I’ll be upgrading to 35s. I’m currently running ray 10s with a -38 offset.

FYI I’m running 1.25 wheel spacers right now with 295/70/17

you have any pics of your truck?

Geez thats a lot, you could probably ditch the wheel spacers. Gonna rub a lot with that much poke i think.

Did the CMC, hammered the pinch weld and trimmed some plastic. A Little bit of rubbing at full lock. But you’re right, I can probably ditch the wheel spacers now. I had them when I was running 285s with less offset.

they’ll be gone once I upgrade to 35s. That’s why I was asking about wheel spacers and 35s

I had the same issue with with the 16x7’s. There doesn’t seem to be any steel wheels on the aftermarket that fit 3rd gens. I went with aluminum

i have some series 69's comming and some 315's waiting. should be next week all my questions will be answered.

yes you can run steel wheels but as far as i know vision soft 8 17x9 -12 offset is the one that fits and dose not interfere with the caliper. There is a 2-3 week wait for those rims in Toronto

If you are running a -38 wheel you probably shouldn't need any spacer.
    I have a 1.5" wheel spacer and 17x9 -12 wheel

Can't hits rear shock at full bump. That's the price to play when you run 14x2.5 King RRs in the rear with a Chevy 63 swap. Front easily clears but I hate the look of a narrower front or rear so it's gotta be square
