Yeah!! I love it!

 

The truck runs remarkably better now. Although, my old plugs were waaaasted. So, it could be just the fact that there’s new plugs that I’m feeling.

I got them through Napa auto parts. I’m sure there’s a Napa near you. Ngk 95125 / LFER7BHX.

 

Close. I believe their intended application is turbo vw/Audi motors.

 

I am as well. So far, no issues.

 

Here is my "i might drive it one day" car. The restoration is good quality though. Full rotisserie, frame Fx kit, etc.

Pretty clean underneath.

It's doable, but difficult....I can do it by feel now.

Also, now that I don't have to work around the clutch fan, it's really pretty mundane. E fan's are the gift that keeps on giving.

 

You got a r34 gear box yet?! That would make the race track driving way better

Yup, same here. Efan allows access to the tensioner and I don't even need to remove the skid plate.

 

How do you like the umi control arms? Im thinking about buying some.

 

I'm due for plugs as well.

I haven't done any research on the resistance change or how it could potentially influence coil packs though.

Does anyone have the Cliffs notes answer?

I would think a lower resistance plug would allow for increased current across the gap which may be perfect for our needs since BOOSTED!!!

 

That's my thought too. Like a high powered coil pack but different method

 

So from my limited research the main reason for resistor plugs is to prevent electrical noise.
What @BillDaCat8 has found here lowers the resistance from 5K to 1K BUT it still has resistance vs a non resistor plug.

So if Jake doesn't have any issues with radio noise and the ecu is still functioning correctly with the potential rf noise increase then I would think we are gtg.

I think I may be 2nd in line for a set of these.
