How do I know if my 2020 Off Road has rear sensor? (I'm buying rear bumper shells)

new ... working on it.... got a wish list... will be adding softopper or besttop with rack
Guys, I tried finding the answer on Toyota's official site by typing in my vin#; but there are so many sensors that are referenced I couldn't discern a definite answer.
I am purchasing a rear bumper shell and needed to know if I should purchase the shell with the hole for sensor. My current factory bumper has no hole; but I thought it may not obstruct the sensor the same way a shell might. ????? Anyone have a quick answer?
Or refer me to another thread; I saw threads that talked about sensors; but again, not addressing a way I can discern if my off road has a rear bumper sensor.

I know the blindspot monitor and rear cross-traffic detection sensor is located in the rear bumper. Do you have either of those?

If your current bumper doesn't have any holes and you do not have a BSM & Parking Sensor switch by your center console, then your tacoma is not equipped with those features. Therefore, putting a bumpershell will not affect anything.

I do.. That is it tells me when I change lanes without a signal... I still have to pull out my manual to become more familiar with everything...
So, in your opinion my rear bumper shell may need the "hole" even though the original bumper is without?

That feature is called Lane Keep Assist and it is controlled by your front grille camera. As I mentioned, the bumpershell you plan on putting on will not need a hole.

@1999TacoMan I do know my current bumper is without a hole.... I will check my center controls that you were talking about to make doubly sure I will not need a hole for sensor. Thanks for your help

Not sure if the 2020’s look the same, but on a 2019 your back number will look similar to this if it has sensors. One below the taillight and one in the black portion next to the step/license plate mounting area. Hope this helps E40E1196-F77D-413B-8364-17E6ADC5E989.jpg

I can confirm the 2020 look the same - on both sides of the bumper.

Tech package = rear parking sensors.... SHOULD include fronts too. A half-assed move by Toyota there.

Right. Just like drivers seat auto adjust button but not on the passenger side
