I feel ya. I can’t stand the look of “flushed tires” with the fenders. IF that’s what you meant by it?

No think more drastic like a LT truck in the front and stock width rear not my thing. I'd rather have the WMS to WMS the same front and rear.

What’s the consensus on best spindle gussets? Is it pretty much TC or dirt king, can’t go wrong sort of deal?

I run Bajakits but they need some massaging to install.

I mean rub the actually frame, closer to your LCA. After you clear your cab mount your tire can swing inward enough to run frame and restrict full lock. For me it's not a big deal and it's a soft rub so I'm not concerned with it. I'll see if I can get a picture later tonight when I get off work.

I have tuff country UCAs. I do still rub them when I'm turning but for street driving they seem to be fine, and off-road I'm usually going slow. Even on 35s I rubbed them a little bit and never had an issue with the tires, didn't even see any wear. I have a set of .75 spacers at home I was thinking of putting on but I don't think I will.

He's got a 4sale thread with them for a core exchange. I went with him doing them easy peasy and they are working great.

Any reason to not trim the little styrofoam nub behind the fender liner right here?

2018 new Frame (thank you Rust!), FJ T-case swap. SPC(LR) UCAs, Bilstein 5100s front - rear, OME 883 at 0, HeadStrongOffRoad 3 leaf progressive AAL, MESO custom 2nd gen (Red/White) LED dome & Ultimate Maps, Spyder Halo Projector w LEDs (which SUCK), Spyder LED tails
So fellas, I too am planning to jump from stock to 305 or 315 (35s range) very soon, just budgeting and deciding which rubber to go with... Is there any reason i'd need TO ADD "spacers"?? I was not planning to, don't like them.....

I'm on 5100's 0 or 1 notch (can't remember) and 883 springs, AAL in the rear to keep the ass from sagging...!
I have on the shelf waiting a set of F5s in 17x9 -38 offset, so they say.....

I know i'll need to CMC or CMRelocate and pinch weld flatten...
    I'll budget to regear asap....

What else is there to expect?

    Thanks in advance-

Why bother gusseting a vestigial part.

I think it will be close, wait until you get them and run a test fit, if you need them , get them.

and they (Spacers) would be potentially needed to add clearance between tire and UCAs? (I do have LCA UCAs)
