For me, I love the suicides. Easy loading with the full swing. Small bucket list win for me. Saves me from an old Continental. Hahahaha!

    Mostly dust and dirt.
From a design point of view the hood is a little too long.
1st and 2nd gen regular cabs look more in proportion.

I'd buy one I don't think a 3rd gen RC would be the best looking truck on the road but I'd buy one. I looked at a full size RC yesterday just to see if it was at the dealer, 8ft bed though. I think it's still longer than a DCSB Tacoma. 4WD I think it has a rear locking diff, vinyl floor, no safety sensors on the front end and an actual key to start the thing.

I personally would never buy another tacoma with only a regular cab. I had both the 78 wolverine and 79 first year 4x4 pickup. When i got my 84 toyota had extra cab's in their 4x4 pickups. The extra storage room inside was great. Been buying toyota's in an access cab ever since. Imo, those dd cabs appear kind of goofy on a mid size pickup truck.

Agreed, AC is the ideal truck configuration. Certainly soccer moms have other needs that have to be met. That RC in the OP looks great. I don't understand why they'd drop it.

The only excuse that I can think of for some of the weird decisions is that when you have plants running at full capacity 24 / 7, it is the way.
