So I recently purchased the 05-15 LED tail lights off of Tacoma Beast. And after installing just the left tail light I tested it out and noticed that nothing was lighting up. I then installed the right side and the reverse, as well as the turn signal lit up. But not the brake/parking lights. Has anyone had an issue installing them? Or did I just receive a defected set?

LEDs are polarity specific. I am not familiar with the Tacoma Beast products but LEDs are diodes. Diodes are like a one-way valve and only allow electrical current to pass through one way.

IF they have bulbs in the housing, try removing them and rotating them 180 degrees. If not, plug the wiring harness in 180 degrees if it allows.

If that doesn't work, then they may be defective.

I'm having the same problem. But my top mount light and left taillight won't come on unless I press the brakes. Any advice?
