no , I got the new brushless 21" push , I figured the self propelled feature would be a drag on the battery capacity

let me know what you think of that, ive got an unnecessary amount of makita batteries and will be in the market for a new mower this year, I'm curious how these battery operated guys operate in longer or damp grass.

part of the reason I went this route is I already have like 8 5Ah Makita batteries plus a few 6Ah , I've only cut my lawn once with it and it was about 8" tall and not totally dry . I found you need to cut once on a high setting then drop deck to lower setting to not bog down machine and kill batteries . Overall first impressions are pretty good

have to do that with the gas mower from time to time. we get so much rain that it doesn't dry out enough to mow before it rains again.

same here , the cordless mower was the same as how I would have had to cut it with my old gas mower

Got myself a new mower, its about 100 years newer than my old mower :)

And yes, I have a gas mower also, but I dont like to beat the grass short, I love how reel mowers cut.

Nice ! My son just purchased a town house (first home) and he also got a reel mower. No gas and easy to transport from front to back yard...

I have a really old one that I got from some amish folks, but the blades are warped so I wanted to get a new one. I love that I can mow late in the evening, I can mow when its wet, I can talk to people and mow. Plus the sound of a reel mower is like cutting construction paper. Plus no engine makes it one less thing that can break.

Ive started converting all of my things to manual powered, ditching gas and electric for hand powered.

Most kids now dont know how to use these things. Its not a bad thing, but if you need to drill a hole and dont have a good battery, you need a backup.

Lol, yeah, we just got a harbor freight near us like 2 years ago. I was using them just a little bit ago to take the rear wheel off my mini bike to fix the rear brakes dragging.
