No, not a guess CMC.. It was done by a reputable local off road shop Demello Off Road. I am running the TRD PRO wheels. Don't remember the offset at the moment, sorry..
What i believe is causing to rub even more is that i am also running 1-1/4" wheel spacers, so these push the tires out even more..

Did you end up getting 650 and dropping notch to 4th? still clearing 33s?
I'm getting this done today except coming from 6th notch on 700lb coils to 5th notch on 650# coils.

Yeah the wheel spacers are doing it. Try to get that caster forward too. Not sure if you’re on aftermarket UCA or not. Hoping when I get my CMC it will be enough

Yeah, i am pretty sure is the wheel spacer, but i like the stance with them a lot.. LOL.. have the Delta UCA and when i got it aligned, the shop did push the caster a bit forward but not sure how much that helped.. I am planing doing the pinch weld mode soon but i do not want to cut out the fender plastic liner. i am going to remove the plastic liner, do the pinch weld mode then try to put the plastic liner back and just push it back against the fender as far back as possible with a heat gun.. will see..
    Good luck..

Do you have to do the pinch weld? It seems some do and some don’t. But you do have a lot of offset

    Stawk as FUCK!
Can always just make your own liner out of super thin aluminum or even a thin rubber sheet. That might be an easier option?

Taking care of the pinch weld will allow me to push "re-shape" the plastic liner back thus creating a little more room for the tire when at full lock. so i hope that with this mode the tires won't rub as much or at all.. but don't want to remove the plastic liner because i don't like the looks of the opening where the pinch weld is at..

Gotcha. I’m thinking you’re at -31 (1.25” spacer) + 13mm (your pro wheels offset) so around -18 offset equivalent on your wheels. So fairly aggressive

You wont really know till you install them and check clearance fully stuffed and turned. I will guess and say yes you will need CMC.

I’m running 285/70/r17’s on 17x8.5 SCS rays and I had the CMC done. You’ll definitely rub without on the 3rd gen. I have to trim the fenders a bit more because the rub at the very bottom fully turned on large bumps. 61F33AD5-87A6-4B08-8970-4CB55145E610.jpg

I just wanted to chime in here to clarify some things I’m reading on these recent posts.

An aftermarket UCA that has built in caster compared to the stock UCA is going to push the tire back further towards the CM. They do this on purpose to help with steering geometry and alignment after a lift.

The only way to move the tire more forward with an aftermarket UCA is to get one that is adjustable, like the SPC UCA.

Pretty much all aftermarket UCAs have built in positive caster that will push the tire further back unless you get one that is specifically adjustable.

In regards to caster, positive caster on the upper control arms will move the tire position back. Positive caster on the lower control arm will move the tire position forward.
The SPC UCAs have an adjustment for caster and camber.
This allows you to set the LCA cam bolts for maximum caster and then you adjust the camber with the SPC UCAs.

To say in short, aftermarket UCAs that are not adjustable will move your tires further back in to the cab mount and rear fender area. Thus, making is worse for fitting larger tires.
