Looks like NRGU is dipping? Maybe that?

 

Something high risk, high yield like NRGU. It’ll get you used to the rush of losing a bunch of money and then reward you with big gains (hopefully)

I use Charles schwab mainly bc of the investor credit card feature but really nowadays most brokerages offer free trading and are similar

 

we go through the platform a lot. So far it seems RH is buggy on heavy traffic, ie good days to be using it....I use td ameritrade which has been good. I think etrade does fractional shares so you can put 50 bucks into Tesla for example without having a full 700 share.

I support this. I bought into nrgu for the long haul. Hoping in a year or so we’re back to 50.

Exactly! That 200 can turn into 100 real quick. Sometimes it’s good to hold out though because that 100 could rebound to 300.

 

How about any airline stocks?

 

I'm looking at a company that is building walk through health scanners. Still trying to DD it though.

If NRGU drops below $4 today, I'll add. Otherwise I'm looking at that other stock.

 

Well that 200 is some extra cash i just ran into. So i just want to get involved with some stock buying.

 

Can’t really go wrong with 200. If want to buy and leave it alone and add to it over time there are good dividend options out there still. If you want to try to buy and sell every couple days or week, there are options for that also. And then there are the big swings that might go big.

 

When opening an account (TD Ameritrade) Just do a individual account?

 

I am dropping VDIGX from my 401k. For a supposed dividend growth fund, their dividend yield of only .2% more than VIIIX (basically a full SP500 portfolio), coupled with a .2% higher expense ratio and consistent underperformance.. that's gonna be a no from me.

 

I will most likely be playing with every week.

 

They’re still low enough to buy but I’m not sure about them anymore. I have $1500 in United, contemplating moving it all in oil funds

 

NRGU starting to gain should i drop the 200 on it or wait?

 

Good move. My paycheck came through yesterday and while I know I should be responsible and buy more NRGU, I’m putting it toward adding an ARB air locker lol

 

That's a tough call, regardless of the amount.

 

Friday usually is a sell off day, especially with the 3 day weekend. May want to wait until tomorrow afternoon. But please take my advice with a grain of salt, I’m financially an idiot

Make some more money on trades and add 2 ARBs. The front is worth it's weight in gold when you need it.

 

There is talk of getting rid of the Euro. If that happens it will create a wave across the financials and precious metals.
