I do have 1 set of Texas made jack stands. I think my HiLift was made in China, though.

My car was on Harbor Freight jack stands for a year. Longer if you consider the time it was on stands during the motor/transmission swap. But luckily, I used my Harbor Freight engine hoist and Harbor Freight load leveler to pull the motor and put in the motor that was on the Harbor Freight engine stand for 2 years. But I'll admit, I used my China made Craftsman tools for a lot of the nut & bolt work. I also drive my car or go into a store without a surgical mask and gloves. I won't live in fear from this Chinese shit!

Do any of y'all know of any Toyota dealership parts departments in DFW that are willing to match pricing from online Toyota dealerships?

I am trying to pick up a new hood. There are some solid prices online from some of the dealers, but the shipping cost will kill the deal.
There is that promo going on right now for another 10 days with the free shipping (coupon code FAMILY), but a hood is not gonna fly with that.
I already had a dealer in GA take the order, but then cancel it the next day on me since it will have to ship via freight.
    Thanks!

Coming from the dealer side of the industry, most of the online dealers offering much lower than retail price for parts is because they are buying them in mass quantities from the OEM at a volume discount. So the local dealer may not be financially able to match the price even if they are willing.

I've only worn a mask when I'm forced to. I should probably be a little more cautious since have a weakened immune system. My Dr's office(Dallas county) made me wear one today and my vet(Collin county with no mask regulations:frusty:) made me wear one to walk in and weigh one of the pups to get heart worm meds...

Glad that worked, figured of anyone in the area they would be a good chance since they have a pretty big parts presence.

Not in my experiences. I have ordered online from Toyota Dallas, Denton, and Prosper and they get the parts from their warehouse next day just the same as if I had walked in and ordered from the parts department. Only difference being the cheaper prices on the website interface. Most of the (Toyota) dealerships use the same website software/backend for their online parts anyway. They just have to sign up for it from the main provider and add their name to the top and put in their own pricing multipliers.
