Just fair warning that your family is likely to give you hell for more than a few years if you make that decision.... Like for 10 years give or take.

 

I had to switch out trailers in Delaware on a Friday afternoon. The trailer that I was picking up had a flat. I called for a service tech and they said he will be right there as he is in the neighborhood. He got there an hour later and couldn’t get his compressor started to use his bead seater. Now he had no air. I have a hose in my truck that I use to air up my tires. It connects to the tractor air lines so I let him use it. He asked me to hold the air nozzle on the valve stem and I obliged because I wanted to get home as quickly as possible. He got out the staring fluid and gave it a shot. Lit the lighter and poof, not enough fluid. He kept on spraying and spraying. I told him that he was on his own with the airline and backed off. He lit the lighter and boom, a big blue flash and loud bang and that tire was seated. He turned to me and said, “I’m good, ain’t I?” I almost pissed myself laughing. He was a hairy dude and half his beard, mustache, eyebrows and arm hair were singed off. It works but can be dangerous.

 

This is effing hilarious.

My family says nothing to me about it... Think they just give grief to the females! Which I find insulting.

 

The smell turned my stomach which he got a kick out of.

I completely agree but @Twizted is an only child so he's been bugged in the past. I wish we would get past this archaic idea that procreation equals happiness. The comments that I'll change my mind one day or somehow live with this mounting regret are fucking stupid and I'm not some grinch that hates children either. Is it really all that absurd that a woman or a couple may decide that they are 100% content without having a kid in their life and never have regret? It really shouldn't be all that hard to fathom.
