If by "cover", you mean a tonneau, then they can't really add a Toyota tonneau cover to it after-the-fact. Those have to come from the factory as they are part of the build. I guess you might have been able to get them to include an after market one, but not official.

 

Just picked ours up. $44,483 sticker, paid $41,622 plus taxes and fees. OTD price $45,184. Chose 0% 60 over the $1750

Definitely. A lot of people want them. I bet you could get $500 for the tonneau on craigslist within 2 days. It’s $1000 to buy one from the dealer.

 

If you go to the Naples, FL toyota dealers website they're selling tonneau covers for $500 new. Probably gonna end up ordering a bunch of shit from there the prices are waaaay cheaper than going to my local dealer's parts department

 

Picked up a TRD Off-road 4x4 DCSB in MGM (LED headlights, JBL, tech package, all weather floor mats, black oval tube steps, mud flaps) yesterday for invoice from a Los Angeles dealer. Went with the $1750 rebate on top for a total discount of 12.6% off of MSRP. Pretty sure I had called every dealer between LA and SD. None of the San Diego dealers were willing to go lower than $1500 below MSRP because of the plant closures and shortages. FWIW, there was a second LA dealer that was also willing to do invoice but he didn’t have the truck I wanted on the lot.

 

Which dealer is it? I’ll be buying a new one later this year. Good to know the ones willing to deal.

Same here.
I've been asking dealers for their allocated incoming inventory (trick I learned from @TacoBuffet ), the more experienced sales associates share what they plan on getting from Toyota.
Most say they will be getting more Tacomas end of June or early July.

 

Hopefully they will extend the current incentives again when that "magical" shipment comes in.

Congrats! Almost pulled the trigger on this truck, had everything I was looking for but noticed that it was a long bed, so I passed for another Similar option minus the adv tech package from Toyota Vandergriff and had it transferred up to Tulsa for signing this tuesday. Cheers on a bad ass ride!

Yup, my premium package included leather/sunroof/upgraded JBL sound system. To be fair, I only found 2 long bed voodoos in the entire country, and both popped up in Madison, WI. Only 3 hours from me, had a dealer 30 mins away do a dealer trade for me

Sale price - 40,691 (8.2% off msrp)
Choice off 0% or an additional 1750 off with rebate (would have been 12.14% off)

I took the financing and got a great trade in value, upper KBB private sale territory.
