I know the Moto Metals are some what PLAYED OUT, but there arent many around here and I want opinions based just on the looks of the wheel.

Go with the Gear's. I have Moto Metal 951 and I am SICK of them...like you said, they are played out. Those Gears are just sexy!

Anybody know if you can replace the center caps?

 

I don't see why it would be a problem...I would keep the gear center caps. If I didn't have my damn moto metals I would pick up these or the FJ SE wheels...gotta get rid of these things.

 

id like to see the gears on a taco. maybe w/out the center cap. not sure.

I ordered these Gear 719MB for my 2010 Taco. Got them in 18" with 275/70/18 Nitto Trail Graplers. Ordered them from Wheels next last month on the 18th and still havent gotten them.
I am overseas in Germany but Ive never seen anything take this long to get here! They were supposed to send me a shipping email with a tracking # and the guy said 3-4 weeks for delivery, but all I got was the Order email. Called and expressed my concern....the answer I got was "Sir they were shipped on the 2nd of March."

Im thinking how in the hell....? I ordered them on the 18th of Feb, you say they shipped on the 2nd of March....Im confused and really hoping they didnt end up on Ebay cuz Id be out a lot of $$$$

And Im waiting untill I get the wheels and tires to order the lift wich will then take another month to get here if ever...........

This blows!

 

I also have the 951's. They are played out. I'm thinking of removing the chrome center cap and painting the chrome pieces on the edge of the rim. All black is where it's at.
