I also bought the rolling rigid box. Part 1 of probably 3 for me. I fit most of my camping supplies in already. Waterproof and stackable is what i like. At least need to get one more for the medium sized stuff.

Ahh, looks like a repurposed ebrake. I was confused AF! Of course that's not hard these days.

I’m all for it. The 4800 is a great size. Seems way more rugged than anything plano I’ve owned.

@m603holden i just ordered a Midland MXT275. The mic cord is cat5 so i can mount the brain box under the seat or in the back, and run an extension cable to the front. I also saw somewhere that they make dash mount plugs for that cable, so i can cleanly mount it in my dash, and no one will know where the box is.

Helps too because the sPod uses the same cable to go to their main box

Are you talking about the inside of the tailgate? The piece that bolts on?Aluminum, it’ll be lighter than stainless.

I made some with marine hdpe ive been using that for about a month or two. Today and it started warping in the heat on me pretty bad just from setting a tool box up there. Which is why im looking into a metal one.

When I get in the office next week I should be able to get the CAD drawings we did for mine. I cut out a whole 4x8 sheet of them but don't have any left. I got all the brain damage done and it fit perfect. I used 1/8" 6061
