    Hi All,

I'm a new 2020 Tacoma owner and am kinda green when it comes to lifts. I want to lift my 2020 SR5 3" to fit 33's (285's), and am wondering whether it's better/cheaper to suspension lift or level to achieve this? I was quoted by my local Sportsman's 4x4 about $1,000 to put a 3" front/2" rear level and he said I would also need new upper control arms which would be another $1,300 including install.

Would it be worth it to go for a 3 or 4" BDS suspension lift instead?

Like I said I am a newbie and any advice regarding price/wear and tear/experience with either would be greatly appreciated!

Lift, please do lots of research before you buy anything. There is alot more to lifting these trucks then just installing a set of coilovers or spacers. Welcome to TW and good luck with your truck.

    Welcome!
$1,300 for UCA + install? It seems a bit much. UCAs are only $500 for high quality ones. It takes like an hour to do for each side by yourself.
Plenty of thread on here on lifting.

Sportsman is a good shop. I’d look at suspension vs the spacer lift if you plan on going offroad.
Shipping stuff out if the states is painful right now with exchange, and shipping costs.
You can check out Bilstein shocks out of Vancouver, free shipping

Or Elka suspension, they make good stuff and are Canadian.
