Well I picked these up today.. 4 Yoko I/T GO72 winter tires, I opted for these cause they were only one of the few dedicated winter tires you could get in a 285/75/16 and they were rated very high, and looked great in the pics i saw of them..
Dont' have them mounted on the truck yet, will be doing it on the weekend when I do my front brakes.
Its a nice looking winter tire for sure, very chunky and big blocks to dig thru the snow. The tire has a ton of siping and the rubber is ubber soft for the ice:D
First impression of these I am very impressed with the look and feel of this tire, but only time will tell.. Heres a couple of pics and I will add more when mounted on the truck..
When I finally get them in the snow and ice i will update this thread to give results of how well they do.

I'm curious why you went with a wider tire?

Ya Im pretty excited to see how they do in the snow, will update as soon as we get something here. These are just some steelies I bought used for the these tires, got 5 of them for 225. There 16 x 8 with a 4.5 BS

1200 $cdn.. Which is a good deal here.. was getting quotes as high as 1350+ tax

I couldn't find a dedicated winter tire in a 255/85/16 or i would have went with that size. I regeared to a 4:88 this summer and my rpms are at 3100 at 75 mph with my current 285s, so i didnt want to drop down a size and put them even higher. I also do quite a few trips up north to my cottage in the winter and the roads are just logging roads and arent maintaned in the winter so the snow gets pretty deep so I'm hopping i'll float on top of the snow alittle more.. I used to sink down pretty deep with my old 245 winters and had to dig out quit a few times
