    Cause the washer just floats in there. The lug nut doesn’t really push it back

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Pretty sure the washer is to increase the clamping surface of the lug to the wheel. Meaning it's not supposed to move after the lug is torqued down.

    Well im concerned because mine are loose but the lugnut is tight on there.

    Correct nut for wheel? Studs too long?

    Wheels for that type nut have a flat surface that the washer fits in.

    Wheels with tapered holes uses a tapered lugnut.

    Are you using stock lugs with some aftermarket wheel per chance?

    Wheel spacers with extended studs?

    No there stock wheels I had acorn on them before and someone told me they weren’t suppose to be acorn so I got the correct lugnut.

    That means your studs are too long for the lug nuts/wheel combo you are using.

    That or the wheel was fucked because it was ran with acorn lugs like what happened on my camry

    The taper deformed the flat seat the washer is supposed to seat on

    i took one off and basically the lug nug cant get further in because of the acorns damage. its mushroomed in a sense.

    If the wheel is made for a flat bottomed/washered nut then the nuts you bought are too short and you are bottomed out.

    Or you have studs that are too long for some reason. Wheel spacers per chance?

    You have a dangerous situation from what you describe. Needing correction before driving again.

    I think its because of the acorn lugs they mushroomed the beginning of the hole so.

    Just be glad I hope you don`t see winter chemicals down there.

    Some of the After market Lug nuts the chrome is so thin after one winter it is mostly gone .

    I venture all my lug nuts look far worse then yours then the way they look does not matter .

    OEM lug nuts are made in Japan & very high quality, $6.00 each from several Toyota dealers online. The others are cheap $hit ..... "if you have a ten dollar head, you buy a ten dollar helmet"
