Out of warranty? I want to do this before it’s a problem on mine (yes on infected list) but I’d rather the dealer hAnd me the light in warranty and then install myself

I am 46k miles and they told me to pound sand. They won’t just give you the light. Just let them do it. Not hard, but mine won’t be covered if it leaks again. Just get yours to leak ;)

18s have issues now too? F**k man. May need to rethink that extended warranty on my 20 .

But I’d do it better than them… at least by the book and taking my time. I know they’d try to knock it out as quick and careless as possible. I do have a decent relationship with my SA so maybe I’ll just bring it up while I hand him a cigar.

So likely the problem was never addressed with the gaskets.

Yes sir. I’ve seen a couple of them with this problem now. The job is not hard, just takes a bit. Going slow and taking pics, it took me 2 1/2 hours.

Hahaha!! Do it!! The job is not hard at all. I’ll give it a 3. Just realize you have a 10mm bolt on both of the B and C pillars. It took me a second to realize something else was holding them on.

I put this on the leaky tail light thread. They are officially into their third part number (last numbers are 40, 50, and now 51), which is what I installed

I’m guessing the gasket is just getting thicker... :notsure:

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Well that sucks. It hurts looking a that. Inferno caught my eye when I started looking at the Taco's. And I wanted a MT. And as fortune had it, one of the two MT's on the lot, which had just arrived, was my Inferno. I hope it's not that bad and you get it back soon.

thankfully I live in SoCal. I’ve heard the same stories. My headliner was dry in 30 min most times. I got lucky!

I am confused (maybe) why the fuc* would you you want to spend your time fixing a warranty repair that is not fun or especially simple. Any future issue would then be YOUR problem and not the dealers. Shaking my head a bit!
