So I came across an awesome deal(practically stole) on a set of 5 silver TRD FJ Wheels that have some scratches on them and I want to paint them black. I can't decide if I want them matte or glossy. I like both so I thought I'd post this poll and see what everyone else thought. Thanks in advance!

Finished product at the bottom of the page!

With a silver truck, I'd leave them shiny.

I like the idea of matte on the wheels. I had matte black wheels on my old red wrangler for years and IMO it was a cool look. Easier to clean as well.

I voted matte, but only because you don't have a satin selection...

Well as a matter of fact the paint I'm gonna use is a satin black from duplicolor. :D
I thought about this and I like the anthracite gray but I think I want to stay more with the black, chrome, silver thing....for right now at least.:D My toolbox is black. Thats one big reason I'm leaning that way

Big question! My wheels have turned out great but my center caps are not turning out so great. They are turning out a whitish color after adhesive promotor and primer and multiple coats of paint. Can anyone help?

Thanks! Krylon flat enamel and then a couple really light coats of duplicolor clear and I did the TRD with one of those duplicolor touch up pens. If you want a true flat finish you might what to go with the krylon or rustoleum flat black.
Thanks man! I went with the duplicolor satin black. I think the metallic additive in it made it a little more glossy than matte but its no where near what I consider gloss.
