    Completely missed this post; someone is selling 2 mature males on Craigslist near me for over a month now.

    I know they can be had for less than he's asking but this is a species I've been wanting to add to the list.

    So...this one was pretty gruesome lol

    I tried to drop a roach yet get ready to record and damn Penelope snatched it up way too fast.

    What's funny is how she had the roach in her mouth...

    "Yeah..can't really dig my fangs in you..hang on a sec let me turn you...around, there"

    And then I heard a loud crunch :rofl:

    Wait wtf...

    She put the roach down (I went away for a sec) and webbed it up.

    She webbed it up a few times until it was lightly wrapped and then she picked it back up?



    I thought maybe she was saving it for later but she's now eating it.

    Then I thought maybe she did it as a precaution? But I've fed her the same size roaches before when she was smaller (before the molt).

    Yeah weird though

    I know @boogie3478 had one that webbed up its prey after capturing and biting into it.

    And what's funny is that's what we grew up with knowing about spiders yet all our tarantulas just capture, bite, and eat their food...normally

    @Kwikvette on a side note, Golden Blue Leg is doing well!! Fed a small roach that got swooped up and eaten this afternoon!
