Hello all, owner of a new-to-me 2018 ORSB with about 20k miles. I had been looking for a Tacoma for a while but even with the Covid crap happening, dealers didnt seem to be coming off of their prices much. Then I randomly found my truck on CarGurus about 90 minutes away from home. The dealership had marked it down to $27k which is several thousand less than anything I'd seen in my area. Turns out that they were having a hard time selling it because it was a manual. Since a manual is what I was looking for, that was perfectly fine with me.

Truck had a clean carfax and was in great shape other than missing random odds and ends (engine cover, gps simcard, valve stem caps) The dealership replaced all of these things and said that things like that went missing sometimes when vehicles go to auction. Never heard about that before but whatever.

So after about a month of driving, I've been loving it but find it a little strange that there is no hill start assist especially with the off road package. Is that something that has to be ordered specifically? It's not something that bothers me day to day but would definitely be helpful in off road situations. Another thing I've noticed is that my truck, like my wife's 2012 4Runner, has a very sensitive satellite radio antenna as opposed to my others cars.

I also had a question about aftermarket parts and websites. Coming from the Jeep world, I am familiar with what companies are American and make quality products (EVO, Poison Spyder, etc) as opposed to the cheaper brands that are made in China. What aftermarket companies are good? Which ones should I avoid? And what websites do you all use to buy aftermarket parts?

Edit: I also have a friend who is selling a sprint booster. I was planning on picking it up but was wondering if there is a programmer that i would be getting down the road anyway for larger tires that would make it redundant.

Sorry for the novel, thanks in advance
