Oh lord, here we go again.... I really wish the ignore feature on here also blocked all the posts of people quoting the D-bag you tried to ignore in the first place :frusty: I can't wait for final release so I can finally be rid of this cancerous forum.

Just to clear the air on the potential pot stirring.

Several values from the previous version, including several PI and DI settings were adjusted back to / similar to stock.
the PI and DI split table was also adjusted as well.

So, regardless of any "IT IS OBVIOUS FROM THE LOGS' and likely claim it's the same as the reasoning last time....even though those settings said user cried about were specifically changed.

I'm not interested in arguing or debating any of it.
As I said it's a temporary issue we will solve. And the *only* reason we cannot do testing on our truck at this moment is because it is in the middle of the twin turbo build for the kits.

Agreed. I’m still on the stock tune and it purrs on startup.

Just waiting on my registry file from Matt and I’ll be in business. :D

    Ok.

Mine idled differently on a cold startup for about 30s stock, and still does tuned. Mat even acknowledged this is a thing. I'm happy for you that yours doesn't do it I guess?

Second this. When I first flashed 87 I didn’t have the start up issue, now I do about every startup. So both octane tunes have the issue.

I really hope the tune can stay very similar as is to correct the start up cause once it’s running it drives great!

I don't think you guys are talking about the same thing. Rough idle =/= stumble start

I know that and specifically mentioned both to clarify. He bolded my comment about the cold idle.

I've got about 75 miles on the 87 octane 33 inch 5.29 tune and it's been smooth sailing. The first 20 miles was a little jerky with downshifts. No cold start problem and smooth idle. I'm still breaking in the gears so I haven't used the skinny pedal much.

Sounds like he needs to tweak the entire tune.

I’d rather drive the truck the shit way it shifted stock than have it start up the way it starts.

Then flash back to stock like he told you to.

Then use a different tune until we correct it.

Going to flash back to stock for a while I guess. Getting sick of the stumble start, happens either cold or warm. Would have flashed back earlier but was told there was a new file imminent a couple times. Either way, haven't been stock for a while, hoping it will give me a new appreciation for OVTune. Been 2 and half years since I've been stock.
