You don't have to go back to stock. There are always our other tune versions...

Just so everyone is aware... when you have an issue or there is an issue with any test tune, you can always go back to the tune version you were using before..

 

Kinda hard to do for some that traded in their dongles and are waiting on the tune packs...

It's all good. All my other betas were pcm files, but I'm off the dongle now. If stock kills me too much, I'll go back to 1.05. Thanks.

Update- I now see that all the previous betas are available in pf5. Thanks guys!

 

Not at all, the folks who traded their dongles have access to P5F files, that was the point of it. Trade in dongle, convert to p5F, so that we can release 2.0 final in P5F format only

See my post above,I would like to go back to the 1.05 BFO 91 "fat boy" test file until the CEL issue is resolved in 2.0 final 91 SFOB dump tube file.

 

The CEL on 2.0 final is driving me nuts,on top of that,the limp mode with the TRAC deactivated messes with the 2 low mod

 

Stupid question. If I apply a techstream TSB to update my ECU, will the ECU ID change and mess up my OVtune registration?

CELs today mess with everything. On our Subaru, we couldn't even switch engine modes. They're a PITA, esp when waiting on parts or scheduling.

 

No. You can see and download all ECUs in Flash Manager.

But, it does affect things in vF if you have an ECU unlocked.

 

You can it called the stock tune and it only takes a few minutes.

 

Some of these “testers” need to be screened better

Which ones exactly are ok to use?
