Hey, ah not trying to be a jerk, and I am against lift blocks for many reasons, but that is on wrong. Your bump stop now has a 2 inch lift. They go under the leaf. Good luck with that!o_O

Bent the rear pinion seal guard while wheeling, causing it to make a grinding noise on the diff housing:

    Some prying and hammering later:

Yes I got under the truck while it was supported by only a hydraulic jack :anonymous:

Added a heavy duty tire repair kit, and a tree saver to the VEDC.

Hit the big 3-0 (truck meanwhile has 10,5XX miles) and got a bed mat as a gift! Finally, no more sliding!

The only time it will ever be this clean...

As you can see, it's much needed. No longer will I have to worry *as much* about tools crashing around in the back.

Ok, ya got me. Thanks for playing along. The lift works great -- 2" was a bit more than expected... guess I'll have to lift the front to match :)

So happy with my dashtop multi mount (DMM) from Taco Garage..
Had to take some of the covers off to run my HF and VHF radio cables...
    DashMountInstall.jpg
Once ran the cables, put the covers back and the Taco Garage Dash Mount kit.
    DashMount2.jpg
Then mounted my cellphone, HF radio and Garmin GPS.. I will need to make some room for my VHF radio

You forgot one more thing... Add "01" on the doors... Heheh

    Your truck looks good.

I signed the paperwork for black Tacoma.... When the truck is ready... a guy came up to me and said "Your truck is ready." We walked out of the showroom and he said "Here you go" then he handed me the fobs for Tacoma in that color like yours. I was like "Whoa, whoa... it's not mine, my truck is black." He was confused and looked at paper... He was like oh... That dealer didn't know because he took over for my dealer who left for the night which is why I stayed and waited in the lobby.

I had that color on my radio trim but I painted black over it.

Cool. I have been considering to get those but it could make less view. I have the mount from Hondo which no problems so far.

I too was wondering about blocking the view (i am only 5' 9") but to my surprise it doesn't, i still have a good line of sight to the hood and front of the truck. i've seen the Hondo kit and looks pretty good as well..

Yes. It's a thin metal cap that's on the back of the companion flange. Looks to be a debris guard for the pinion seal. Apparently it's easy to bend when you drag the rear diff housing over rocks.

Ok, the General Lee reference is pretty funny.
Thanks on the color, I was shopping for a red truck, but found this one on the used lot w/ color matched topper for $12,000 less and decided burnt orange *was* my color after all.

It wasn't today but yesterday; I tore my drivers side front mud flap off backing through a ditch....pisses me off. I didn't look too close but it appears some type of plastic screw holds (held) it on??
