Seriously, at this point, any 2.0 file. This startup "issue" is not much of an issue other than it's annoying. It's not going to hurt your truck. Pick a file and run it.

Mat, we're you planning to release 04B14 with everything else for VF right? Should we just go ahead and flash that TSB file that @Saeros posted for us?

^ also curious. I’ll update to 04b14 if we are getting the goods for it. Otherwise I’ll stay one 04b13 even though I don’t really want to

Tell me more. Is this an issue only when in 2lo, or at all times? I have the mod (mostly for insurance and cool factor) but would like to know.

Hoping to get a straight answer cause I am very confused. I have a 2018 AT 04061 truck and I have the orange dongle ovtune kit. Will there be a final 2.0 tune for my truck without purchasing VF stuff or is 1.05 the last and only tune I will have?

Do you have a separate usb stick; either micro black, or larger purple? If not, then you're good to go. If you have a true dongle... a usb key separate from the connection to your truck, then you won't get the final 2.0 until you trade in.

How do you know the startup issue is not doing anything to hurt the truck? Have you determined the cause? I have run every 04B04 and 04B03 from the first release. Never had any of the tunes do this, but the last two betas.

I have noticed after 200 miles it will do it warm or cold. It takes about 15 minutes or greater sit time and it will do it. It does seem to be getting longer duration (longer rotation without firing) skip as miles have increased.

There will be a 2.0 final for your 04A61 ECU. You will be able to flash it with the kit you have using Flash Manager.

If you have an issue with it, flash to a previous tune and wait for a new revision.

NO SHIT, I CAN DO THAT? Tired of guys making off handed statements with no factual information behind it. Bottom line is, we don't know what is causing the start issue or what it is doing. I know it clears as soon as I load another tune.

No one can say for sure except Toyota. According to mat they didn't touch any of the tables, just background code. My bet is it had to do with fuel pump issues or the limp mode some people were getting.

Don't you think Mat has logged all of his tunes for way more hours than reasonable? Don't you think if he believed for one second it was an issue he would have told everyone to flash back to stock or a different tune while he fixes it? This alarmist bullshit is part of the reason 2.0 final has been dragged out so long.

nothing alarmist about it. I didn't say it is harming anything. I asked you if you know what is causing it, do you?

Edit, what truck are you running the at issue tune on?
