if you can swing the price then i'd say go for the aftermarket UCAs. it'll help out with your alignment. are you running an AAL in the Dakar pack? my truck was sitting just level without the shell on before i installed it. afterwards i have a nice bit of rake, and plenty of capacity to add the shell back without loosing it. currently i'm making some upgrades to the canopy before it goes back on but the plan is for it to make a reappearance this summer.

A big shout out to all who have posted tip, tricks, and video of LBJs and shocks. I replaced my original lower LBJ and quick struts on my 2000 Tacoma with 235K miles. Since I’m just a daily driver, I bought Moog LBJs and Monroe quick struts from RockAuto and they were at my house in 2 days. Did the rear shocks last weekend. Pictures are pointless as you know what the all look like. Thanks again! Have a safe weekend!

If I'm buying OEM, I go with Lagrange Toyota or mcgeorge toyota. Check out local Toyota dealerships for pricing and shipping.

Dude. I love the look of your truck and made note of that, bookmarked your profile. Didn't notice the grill. I just today was scrounging up old heating grates and scrap metal trying to find something that would protect my radiator better than the stock grill and the big gaping hole where the winch sits. The material you and @Tlook mention... Is that metal? If so, can you please direct me to this material or this product or source?
If not.... I found what i think is the grate off a laboratory drying oven in the junk pile at a lab going out of business. That is all i did on my taco today. I have no pictures.

looks good, may've missed something but why'd you pull the dash apart in the first place?

It's my son's 4Runner. It was in a front end collision before he bought it (has salvage title). Both air bags were deployed, and driver warped the steering wheel.

We just replaced the dash from another salvage T4R and the steering wheel out of a Tacoma and replaced both air bags.

i keep having that wonderfully bad idea of doing a 4runner dash swap on a tacoma. something about the 4runner dash is nicer to me

Not sure if you're thinking a later model T4R... but I friggen HATE his dash and console. The dumb cup holders that hang from above the HVAC controls are useless. His T4R is a 96.

newer 01-02, id keep the Taco center console. The ebrake situation i'd just make a foot pedal bracket from a tundra foot pedal e brake

I'd never ditch the stock ebrake, the pimp cane ebrake is a 1st gen classic

I too love it. But 4runners sadly didn’t have it

no I didn’t do the add a leaf. I feel like should have. I’m wondering if I should get the lift shackles instead. But I run normal bump stops too. I’m on a tight budget.

the AAL is only like $70 from Wheeler's and well worth the money IMHO. plus it's way easier to install than shackles...or at least that's been my experience.
