It goes well actually. We can go 50-58mph so we take the "backroads". Handles good with the little tires, she rides with me on the RR so knows how to ride and isn't nervous; for the most part on the little bike haha

I look at it this way. If it's a one time thing, I'll drive and sit if need be. IF I'm going to have them as my regular mechanic and do my servicing, then I'm going to build a relationship (or at least try) with someone closer.

For my first service on HD, take it to a dealer where they will enter it in the computer.

FWIW I do all my own maintenance, keeping detailed notes, hard copy and spreadsheet, to maintain warranty.
On the wife's bike, I let her decide. Usually she has me do it instead of paying a shop for valves.

I hate shim valves, why cant they all do screw tappets?

This is my thought process as well. While I don’t plan on taking it back to a dealer again after this, I’d like to have a dealer close by that I can trust and have a relationship with should something catastrophic happen.

Seen this as prototype design I think it looks badass i always liked the streetfighter version. They may not ever make one. Either way I'm sold on it

hyping up his own techs aside, his refusal to bash the competition sells it to me. overall tone just seemed more professional, less "screw those guys"

me, I'd be there by 10 when they open

Buy yourself a motorcycle jack and a Haynes manual and do it yourself. It’s pretty easy to work on these bikes. 2A925C7D-165C-4292-AB8B-46648B62E164.jpg 3DD9EF4C-6BC3-4E1C-9E54-2A5F1B0FA2CB.jpg

Doesnt matter who designed it, doesnt even matter who builds it. Only thing that matters is who puts their name on it.
Honda wings, Honda name. Its a Honda.
