why not run 1.05 if you don’t like the 2.0 beta.

I don't believe there were ever any 1.05 files for the 2020's

I’m pretty sure the only 2020 files are the ones that have been posted on the beta webpage

Can somebody chime in? I bought the vF Tuner and Tacoma 3.5l Map Pack earlier this week. I got the email from Mat with my Master Key and all of the instructions. I proceeded to download VF Tuner from the link provided and installed it on my computer. When I fill the online registration form that shows up when you first open the program with the information required I get an error saying: “Master Key (Email) not recognized”. I have tried different combinations of user names and passwords but the error keeps popping up. I sent an email to see if I could get help with the issue but haven’t received a response yet.

    Thanks in advance.

There is a dedicated thread for vF support. This is not that thread.

Edit: I realize how that sounded, not trying to be a dick, this thread is just cluttered enough.

Sorry for that. I agree with that and don’t want to add more to this huge thread. I posted on the vF Tuner one now. Thanks.

You’d think we wouldn’t be called a tester running the 5th version of 2.0 and the 3rd one named final

Nope. Not per Matt’s definition and requirements for testers.
When you have the final product and have complaints about it youre just a whiner by then

Pretty sure the updated tunes were posted as test tunes, not released as final through the flash manager. Goes to show why the old saying “you can’t please everyone” exists.

Edit to add, my start stumble seems to be disappearing/becoming less frequent with more miles on the tune. It still happens, but wondering if ambient temp factors into it at all. Just drove from SLC to Moab for the holiday weekend and loving the new 2.0F 91 31-33 no gear tune, really like gear lock for holding gears. Also, S-mode + ETC has gear lock as well.

Bump... I’m in the same boat. @OVTune Should we submit another support ticket for this?

Curious as well but I'd be guessing not? If only because he was saying if no other issues are found then 04B04 will be finalized - and then the rest of the ECU's release. But - issues were found with the startup same as the last final testing version. So I'd bet until the startup hiccup is fixed for 04B04 - the other ECU's will have to wait as well because they may exhibit the same issue. Though we don't know for sure since 04B04 is the only final test at the moment.

Personally I'm still running the one from Sunday (5/17) and I do have the startup issue on cold start or just sitting for a while. Severity varies but hopefully it's not actually hurting anything because it drives so well otherwise.

Mat never said that. he said he was releasing an updated 2.0 beta for final testing on a few ecu's last week, and if all goes well, a final release would follow for the remainder of the ecu's. if you havent been keeping up on current events, there are cold starting issues with some of the truck's with the latest final beta test. so the testing and datalogging continues.

there really is no sense in asking when. it doesnt speed the process up. just wait, be patient, and Mat will let us know when he is updating more ecu's for testing, and when he will release the final, final 2.0, for the remaining.

i truly understand the frustration but, we really need to just wait. it will come. Ski

I’m going be to optimistic here and say 2.0 final for all ECU’s will be out the 3rd week of June.

you need to "read bro" and need better reading comprehension.

Test time frame : 7-10 days.

We will wait 7-10 days to see if there are any issues / reports, and if all good we will move forward with releasing this on all ECUs.

no where does it say, it would release the rest of the ecu's and THE FINAL this weekend. it said 7-10 days of testing. weds the 27th will be 10 days. he didnt give a day or date for the final release. give it a rest, and wait like the rest of us. Ski

I’m gonna go with no. It’s a holiday weekend. He’s working on fixing some issues.

everyone wants 2.0 but do we really need to ask every day if it’s releasing today? It’ll get here when it gets here.

this is why he rarely gives time frames..
