Sounds like Russel would be a good choice.

@Matic he said he could do both for 175 with strings, and discount the price if I already have strings as well. I’m gonna take them to him

After my experience, I wouldn't spend the money.
Especially since it's a new guitar.

    It's your money.
I just understand it as new guitars/wood needs to acclimate for a couple years and it's not worth the $100.

They didn't do anything to the guitar. Everything set to zero, meaning trem adjusters all even, locking nuts loose. Maybe get tone pot fixed. Works, but the very slight bend and difficult turn bother my OCD. If to much, I can live with it. Hate spending monies!

I've gotten stuff from Sweetwater like that. It's supposed to go thru some 50 something checklist.
Just hope your guy can fix that noise issue.

I did check the ground and no polarity switch on the amp. Fairly certain the amp doesn't like my house grounds. Shit hasn't been updated in 20 years.

No guitar can ever be set up in one location and then shipped and be set up in a new location. Changes in temp and humidity will mess with the guitar. It’s why guitarists should check their set up as the seasons change, and make the small adjustments themselves. The truss rod isn’t going to break, just turn it.

are you talking acoustic when you say “resonance of the wood”? Because if you aren’t then I’m calling corksniffer if you’re resurrecting the tone wood debate! Ha

Yeah, they check the box when they stick it in the warehouse, and then check the box when they ship it out.

Thats ok. I’m interested to hear how this turns out. It sucks when you have to return a guitar because of an issue, or you have to go out of your way to fix a brand new expensive guitar.
