So, what tracks do you ride and what are your lap times?

Man i cant fathom paying a shop that much money, lol. Thats 2 months of bike payments or mods (the more likely spending for me)

Yea well... If you don’t get it done... or do it wrong yourself...

You could void your entire warranty. Harley is extremely strict on it.

    Such a fun bike.
I made the mistake of not adding a power commander and my two bro’s exhaust system ruined my bike

I had a PCV but i didnt have it tuned. I used to have the carbon Akra full exhaust. It was like 4 lbs. Then my bike got kicked over, so I switched to the Titanium one.

@uhplifted you making the same mistake with this service that you did with the bike purchase... if you want to build a relationship with a local dealership you need to let them make some money... fretting over 100 bucks is ridiculous. just food for though though, how do you know these two dealerships aren't friends and talking behind your back laughing?? I know many of a mechanic that has openly bad mouth other mechanics/tuners in front of customers, never the less those two mechanics are friends and just working the customers for their monies...

lol @cwadej sorry but wat da fuq does a track and a lap time have to do here??? I will have you know that @Tatts521 holds the unofficial fastest interstate lap records east of the Mississippi, on a honda may i add...

I most certainly didn’t make a mistake purchasing my bike. A dealer trying to sell me a bike for $4k over msrp, telling me they can’t tell me the price of the bike until they run my credit and then sign me up for a credit card without telling me is not someone I’ll ever do business with.

I’m not looking to take my bike back in to the dealer for service after this 1k service so it’s really not that big a deal. The drive is an extra 20 mins to laidlaw and I have yet to hear one bad thing about them from anyone. id rather take my business to somewhere people feel are more honest and upfront and not some shady place that bad mouths other dealers. That’s really not professional, and make you look bad to me. End of the day it’s my bike and my money, and what I choose to do with it is my choice

I got my bike for 2.5K under MSRP...

And I have no idea why this is underlined

    Edit: I’m an idiot.

That’s because you didn’t go to HB lol. They would have tried to get you to pay at least 2.5k over msrp.

    How?

I've never been one to do many mods, mostly cosmetic or ergonomic.

lots of people can go fast, straight. doesn't mean they can ride well. That's what lap times have to do with it.
Not all of us consider doing 150+ on a public road a good thing. I think only inconsiderate fucktards do it, but hey, that's just me.
Find a road or drag track, quit risking other people
