You were up in my neck-of-the-woods, great looking Golden, we have a 3 yr-old cream color and a 13 yr old lab that love to go with. Waiting to go camping until next weekend, the campers have already started coming up the hill for the holiday weekend. It was packed the weekend before last when we went back in near Tarryall.

Yup, wasn't to bad. Borrowed my dad's air reciprocating air saw. Cut the bed like butter. Now I'm waiting for the Expedition Essentials mount and extended cabling.

stiffeners too.. the cubby is on my list of to-dos but I need to find a kit for sale That isn’t armed robbery or someone parting out.

 

I found mine through a group in the Panhandle in Florida. Linked to their eBay listing. $100. Wasn't too bad considering new its $300+.

I forgot about the stiffeners being on. Haha I did that 4 days prior. Hence why I started the build thread so I could remember.

 

Let me know if and when you need help with the install. I chopped up the harness as soon as I got it...

 

I shouldn't have too much of a problem. I have the main harness at the battery with the fuses mounted into the OE Auxilarly power tray ready to go. Debating if I should have it powder coated to match the truck or just plain black.
It will be at least 3 more weeks before they have the bed bracket ready to go and 2 weeks for the harness. In the meantime... I did order the C4 Sliders I wanted and debating on ordering the upTop bed rack and tent or waiting a bit for it.

 

Wait for their holiday deals.

 

UpTop? Maybe they'll have a July 4th deal. Hopefully 4 Wheel Parts will as well so I can order my tent at the same time.

Great price and great cover! He said he has the same cover on his truck and loves it. Always nice to hear the guy that sells them approves! Almost went for the diamondback but the lomax was 1/2 the price. And a lil more low profile too and for my needs I don’t need something so burly. So far I love mine
