So i just bought a Kenwood DMX907S for my 2010.
I wanted to remove my aux port which is i currently have on the dash which is useless and install a usb port in that switch spot so that it’s connected to the radio.
I know i need a usb connector that would plug into the usb female connector that goes into the back of the radio, than would plug into the back of the usb switch.

Can anyone lead me into the right direction for parts to make this work?

You can probably find one. It needs to be the short Toyota switch style. Most of them are just power wires for charging and don’t connect to the radio so it’s a bit tricky to make sure you get the correct one.

you can plug the Aux into the AV-in jack and use it normally

That's the same one I have for my Kenwood deck. It works great, good fit and finish. I've never used the aux port, but tested and it works. I use the USB for a stick I have loaded up with mp3's.

aux won’t be used as i don’t own anything with an aux port. was trying to find one with just usb that had the port left to right rather than up and down but i couldn’t find one

It needs to hit a few check marks

    1) be standard Toyota short switch size
    2) be usb data (basically just a usb extension) because most of them won’t be data. They will have red and black power wires and only charge devices.

When it’s mounted in the blank opening, the USB port with be horizontal, so you’re good there

Another question if i’m not using the AUX can i cut the cord off? or would it result in the usb not working?

Shouldn't. The cables are separate. But why? The aux port will still be there, and there should be an aux out on the back of your Kenwood unit. What if you're transporting a passenger with an electronic relic and they want to listen to some tunes?
