Unfortunately I did not . They did not have the one I wanted on lot so must be a trade from somewhere. Now that I've time to think I might end up without the premium tech package. So many packages it's confusing.

For the uninitiated like me it is beyond confusing. It is like the Toyota teams sit in a room somewhere and decide how can we create the most confusing packages and options possible ... then, when we are done we can have the dealers pick and choose packages, options and accessories to make it as confusing as possible. The goal is to create no two snowflakes alike so that you can never compare one to another.

That said, for someone who is not well versed in this package quagmire, I found it helpful to download the manual and review all of the available packages. Might be helpful to you. It worked for me:

Best of luck to you !

The Tacoma options are pretty easy and straight forward. Go try to configure an F-150 and get back to me about number of choices/options.

Very true. I once looked ... and then quickly looked away !

Someone should make a documentary of the Ford / Toyota folks in a room, sitting around a table discussing their fiendish ideas about coming up with incomprehensible packages and options. I'd watch that ...

44k for a Cement 4D TRD OR with a 6ft bed with the tech package. A bit of that is the Alaska premium pricing. I bought it at the world's most northern Toyota dealer. The being said I was looking for a 4D gen 1 TRD OR, but none to be found. The prices are a bit cringy for a midsize truck I'm not going to lie. The one TRD PRO they had on the showroom floor was listed for $54700. That's a fully loaded 2018 Diesel 1 ton up here.

I'm in California, bought my first Tacoma last Saturday. 2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4 DC in MGM. Tech package only. MSRP $38,855, paid $36250 plus tax, registration, etc. So $2605 off MSRP. I took zero financing and 90 day deffered first payment. It was the best I could do checking at multiple dealerships in CA that weren't willing to budge citing low inventory.

Is that Premium Package? I was recently quoted $35,617 with 0% apr for 60 months (or $33,867 with rebate) for a 2020 TRD OR DC 6mt with LED lights and Tech Pack... MSRP was $37,762. Tried to get them to meet me at $34,780 but the dealer wasn't going any lower than $35,617 with 0%.

Anybody ever see this? In the Southeast Toyota dealership, on top of the $549 dealer fee and the port options like stupid $700 Toyoguard fake spray they put on the interior, they were adding an $1100 Southeast Toyota administration fee. This is in addition to the regular Toyota corporation $1120 fee. When I told the guy that I have never seen that before and I’ve had four Tacomas his only response was “Do you think we made it up?” Ha ha, laughable.

It never ceases to amaze me how dealers can continue to come up with new ways to pad the price, they even make the government look like amateurs when it comes to raising revenues!

And it’s crazy... $1100!! Not even just a couple hundred dollar subtle fee. When I questioned it he was totally rude to me about it too.
The deal I’m taking has a $400 pinstripe that I’m going to tell them to leave off anyways incorporated into the deal. I don’t really care as long as the bottom line comes out to the right number which it does in this case but at least with the pinstripe I’m actually getting something if I wanted it. An $1100 fee that you claim comes from the distributor but nobody else in the region has is just really rubbing it in your face. Oh well, all part of the game I suppose.

$33,867 + TTL? I don’t know how much Led lights cost for dealer or invoice price but I bought a new 2018 TRD 4x4 OR/ 6MT with Tech package in August 2018 from FREEMAN Toyota in NorCal for $36,xxx (around 36,200 from my recollection) OTD. This was at a lower tax rate (From where vehicle was to be registered around 6.5%.)

It was the best deal I could find and I drove over 350 miles one way to get it. I also made a road trip out of it...so I didn’t mind spending gas $

i say in 2020 that’s a decent good deal in California especially with added LED lights!

    good luck!

**edit** I also used the Costco auto buying program there was no haggling and I got the price over the phone. The dealer up north beat my socal dealer Costco price by $1300.

No premium package, only the tech package. It's an automatic transmission.

Seeing quite a few used 2020's showing up for sale with 4K miles or less. Problem is, most of these dealers have them listed at a HIGHER price than I'm seeing identically spec'd brand new, zero mile trucks priced at.
