Looks like I’m off to Menards to get another Blue metallic spray can. I might as well keep the same color I’m using on all my extra parts!

    Looks awesome buddy!

I’ll probably do the hood shocks while I got it open.

I still need to remove my air vents to paint the chrome trim rings, the climate control dials and the 4wd switch.
Still need to install my smoked Raptor lights!!!

always something else to get to!

While it is on my mind I thought I would show all my @rrentrop vinyl that have held up great for approximately 3 years now. Quality stuff.

Yeah, I blacked out the vent trim rings and the cupholder and MT trim from chrome to black so I do not get blinded by reflections. Whomever came up with the chrome interior trim is an idiot....

I Used paint and clear coat for the vent rings as they are less prone to scratches and 3mVivvid vinyl for the cupholder and MT trim rings as they are higher use. No pics, but it is ok and not too bad to remove/replace. I really wish someone would come up with a replacement for us poor MT folks...:D

That's awesome! Most of mine are coming up on 4 years and they look as good as new, including the door sill protector decals.

    Stawk as FUCK!
Here's my 4x4 Sport. Just added the aftermarket Pro grill. Lift, +2 AAL, wheels, tires, and hood sticker up next. Then eventually hood scoop light bar and lower bumper light bar. Then I am done and will start saving for the next toy, Yamaha YXZ. :)

I kept looking around as it irked me that a place in Illinois was charging sales tax when I was in Texas, and I came across this other dealer that does not charge tax even though they are also in Illinois....a small savings but it all adds up!

Meso customs and some other after market companies make some pretty clean bezel replacements that I'm most likely going to purchase down the road. Its just that for $150 I might as well paint them and save the money for bigger and better things.

Yes, that was my thoughts as well. The disassembly is not hard and you can glue the bezels back in for the A/C vents....The Cupholder chrome is the real issue and has gotten me a few times during my limited ownership ( < 500 Miles so far)...

Also, the issue is for MT trucks. The MESO customs is only for the Auto trans trucks, since we the happy few MT people, are fewer in numbers, selling a MT cupholder bezel does not make financial sense there really is no option out there that I am aware of....

Picked up a 2020 SR5 Double Cab two weeks ago. Had my eye on Tacomas for five years and finally got around to it.

Before I even left the dealership lot, I set up my dash camera from my old vehicle. I "hid" the power cable later:

    IMG_0955.jpg IMG_0956.jpg IMG_0951.jpg IMG_0952.jpg IMG_0953.jpg IMG_0954.jpg

The dash camera is a Viofo A119. I got it about four years ago, because someone turned right on red as I was going through a green light and I rear ended them at low speed.. and couldn't prove that they took a right on red. Never dealing with that again.

    Interior LEDs are next.

I've been sitting on these new bedside decals for a while... It took me several attempts with a lot of elbow grease to get the sticker residue off from the stock bedside decals, and I finally accomplished that today. Cleaned the heck out of the truck, including clay and polish, then wiped down with alcohol before installing the new decals.
