1st gen weld on sliders converted to bolt on

Thanks fellas. I'm sorry to say that it's not feasible for me to make and sell these brackets on an individual basis, It's way too labor intensive. Honestly, as much as I'd like to help anyone out, I'm not interested in making these in batches either. I sure don't mind providing any info that I can on what I did though. After making these, I can see why bolt on sliders are considerably more expensive.

yeah, i can absolutely understand that. given the PITA that building my sliders was, i wouldn't build them as a production thing. certainly not without a jig at the very least.

 

Did you take final measurements of all of your brackets? I think that would be enough to help most people.

 

I didn't add any dimension to the sketches I started with but I can if someone is interested.

 

3/4" wrench and socket/ratchet and sliders are going on. Here's driver side ready to go.

looks awesome! glad they worked out for you. i personally think that the 4xinnovations sliders are some of the better looking ones for the 1st gens. plus they come at an awesome price for what you get.

 

Thank you. 4xI is a great product at at great price. The only negative thing I can say about the sliders is that the two rails are a little too far apart if you want to do a minimal profile(less than what I did) and tip the up more than I did. I would have prefered to have them out from the vehicle the same distance I do but have them tipped up a little more. This a very personal choice and nothing against the product.
