Mud flaps with 285/75/16

    Ive been really worried about chips since I had to take my front flaps off to put 285/75/16 tires on my truck. so i set out today to find a way to get something up there. I found a really thing but durable set for $14 at Canadian tire. So far they turned out well and no rubbing at all. I will post some more detailed pics later but heres a basic look.

    If you look closely on the inside of the flap on the second picture I drilled a small hole and used 2 paperclips joined together and attached it to the cab mount so it pulls the inside of the flap back so it cant rub. I will find a more permanet way tommorow.

    haha well my plan was to tie it back with wire or something and i couldnt find string or wire for the life of me. and of course I couldnt leave the house to go get some with them like that< i would have just ripped em off.. so paperclips it is!

    Temporary fix! If I didn't leave pavement I'd be less worried about mud flaps and chips...

    What's negative about it? I'm just sayin', takin' those flaps offroad, they'll last all of 90 seconds.

    Meh, just make peace with the fact that it's gonna need new paint every 5 years or so :p
