completed her first oil change, only had 3052 miles. I made a oil mess of things since it was my first time with this oil filter. Added a Fumoto oil drain valve. 20200523_105317_resized.jpg

It's OK. My jack stands are Powerfisters, built in a different Chinese labor camp :p

To be serious though, I jacked up on the pumpkin just to get the tires an inch off the ground, so I could rotate the driveshaft and get a better angle for prying.

The OEM emblem is made of a really pliable plastic. I tried prying it a good 1/4" away from the airbag cover, and all the pegs stretched without breaking. No doubt it's designed to stay with the airbag cover when the cover blows open.
The back side of the cover is molded with deep valleys that will be the break seams when the airbag deploys. One seam runs horizontally just below the emblem. The OEM emblem is designed to stay with the top flap.

I have looked at this but I would have to modify it to exit where the license plate mounts for my purposes. I do love Mobtown products. I have their indestructible rock sliders and think they are the best designed bolt ons in the market.

I also want the plate protection of the slimline bumper. I’ll probably get the sso bumper and have a local shop weld a receiver to it.

[IMG] [IMG] I stalled my bed stiffeners today. Plan was to install my new wheels, tires, fox 2.5 with dsc this weekend and hope my Uptop bravo dual racks shipped but UPS and Fedex failed. Now I have 3 of 5 wheels starting me down in my garage and a weekend working the house instead of the truck. Oh well. Staring and these wheels are killing though. We’re back ordered 3 weeks ago when I ordered.

    Got the Lomax from @GotExhaust
Great price and great cover! He said he has the same cover on his truck and loves it. Always nice to hear the guy that sells them approves! Almost went for the diamondback but the lomax was 1/2 the price. And a lil more low profile too:eek:and for my needs I don’t need something so burly. [IMG][IMG]So far I love mine:D

Added a little touch of things.
Added TRD intake clamps covers and a TRD battery hold down.

Soooo, lol. Mounted some lights on the inside of the camper because working on my back is not my idea of fun...lol. (some strippers would argue that). Flipped that thing up and did work son!

Safety and Tip for ya. I drill and tap every screw in this thing. Don't use self tappers. They have a habit of coming untapped...lol. 10/24 panheads for everyone, and won't end up in your tire.
