People saying 600’s aren’t as fun as 1000’s... Then get upset when we say you can’t even use a 600 to it’s full potential on the street. I understand why people have 1000cc bikes they are much more enjoyable cruising around with all of the torque. But when you actually ride them like they are meant to be ridden you can’t use either one legally on the street especially the 1000’s.

I'm kinda new here, yet I've got some motorcycle time under butt. I had an 2003 Yamaha r6, it was about to get turned into track bike, then met my wife and it stayed stock. Everyone I rode with thought I should have a liter bike cause that is what men in their 30's+ rode. Here I had no problem keeping up or passing them. I just never understood this ego thing. To be honest, I would have been just as happy on my drz400 I had at the time.

Half the fun of owning a 600cc bike is keeping up with the liter bike guys. I can’t wait to have a supermoto.

Why so much dick swinging? :annoyed:

Ride what you ride and screw everyone else. I’m perfectly happy on my sporty doing the speed limit out on a country road with no one around.

Just get out and ride y’all!

That’s not with this threads about anymore, stupid!

I didn’t make it on to the bike today. Came home from the beach, had a burrito I picked up on the way home and a beer and then proceeded to pass out. It is only 5 so maybe I’ll jump on and go for a little cruise

Tires in general are a pain. Some day I'll finally break down and buy a NoMar. Until then, I stay away from tires known to be a PITA, like Mitas

No way. Moped or bust for the longboard! I had a little ass moped when I lived in Hawaii and had surf racks but I only had shortboards out there. It'd be nice to have one here for local seshes

Yeah i have a mitas e07 on my 690 that thing was stiff. If i had a tire changing stand itd go a lot smoother but i do it all by hand on the ground.

    Sport bike tires are easy.
    Not a fan of longboards.
