On a similar plane as the roll, think about averages with people. You learn to be able to assume peoples reactions, questions, movements, based on experience. Ask the same question, perform the same task, open the same door 100 times, you'll find people will choose to do some of the same things, even if they don't know it. You already know the next question halfway through the answer, or the answer by the way they react to the question, that the person at the card reader will insert it before it's time because they nodded their head before you were done explaining what to do, that they'll wait for you to go past them first through the door, even though they were closer and the door is propped open. Fun stuff

I started at 14/15 and never stopped. I turned out ok'ish and I had chronic asthma growing up. (Not from the weed). At 2 I was diagnosed with it and it lasted until about 14.

 

So here are some thoughts.

Yes, it was done out in the middle of the country where it's "safe" and there was no one around, and the legalization of weed is progressively becoming a reality in states across the US.

But...

Weed is still illegal and Texas, and a drug conviction will seriously fuck up any sort of college/student loan application. I think it affects eligibility to get a driver's license as well. That's just at a juvenile level.

So there is a real consequence. That's not something to have weigh on a conscience.

Also, this is not about you. What you did in your past is your history, your story. Not this girl's (and by extension her friend). The story is hers, she is writing that story as we sit here and bullshit on TW, and you have an opportunity to be something incredibly influential in her life. Don't conflate your story for hers.

This may make me come off as a square, but so be it. If it's illegal, don't fucking do it. Life is much easier staying on the right side of the legal system, even if you don't always agree with it.
