Well once you hit those frozen lakes it's like the autobahn...
Also helps that the trade winds are favorable this time of year!

@weight did you ever end up doing that fun run by the way?
You asked for coordinates, you get coordinates to somewhere in the world :D

it took me 5 1/2 hours (close enough to the estimated 6) to drive home holding not more than 100km/h with a 15 year old trailer that hasn't seen a road in the last 4 years.

How the hell did you get better mileage pulling a trailer than I do driving around empty? Must have a sail on that thing or something...

What fun run? Still, I can safely say no. I've only been to a couple of meet and greets with the Tacoma group.

there was one that was supposed to happen around boundary road yesterday or something. No one said anything since (i think it was you, i could be mistaken) that asked me and my phone's notification popped up saying "hey, this is today"

now i really don't feel bad about my gas mileage

I have no idea how i got that milage, but that was the first time i towed something with the truck (before the Tacoma i used to tow that same trailer everywhere on a Honda Pilot and Odysee) and hell that's only 1/2 liter/100km more than my driving in the winter :D Felt surprisingly easy, almost like driving everywhere in 4H and it didn't particularly care about hills either.

That was me. No the run didn't happen because of COVID and the 5 person rule. I would have confirmed with those who said they wanted to join us if we could have gone out.

yeah7, sucks that it's the case right now unfortunately. Just give me another heads up if you plan another one!

I remembered it was a MGM 3rd gen in the display profile, just couldn't recalled if it was you or weight

I'm waiting for this one too. Most likely it'll happen when I'll be lifted and on 33'
Not armored though, long wait because of shipping across the line

I'll let you guys know. This was meant to be just a tune up/shake down run to start the season, and take some first timers out on an easy run. I'm not sure if we'll be doing this easy run, but we'll be doing some more challenging trails this year for sure.

@Snail81 Did you find rims for your 255's or are you switching to wider tires?
