I was leaning toward the Weber but everyone sold out of it almost instantly the second I was going to pull the trigger, maybe it's a sign.

I have posted it recently actually, I don’t care for the bark. I know, I’m weird. The smoke only does anything when the meat is still uncooked. So my rule of thumb is the stall, I smoke it into the stall and then will use my oven inside to finish it. My pork shoulder the other day actually finished up in the smoker but usually I just take it out of the oven and that’s that.

No pellet popper needed and it’s probably more efficient - I have a natural gas stove. Might consider doing a brisket soon if the prices are all right.

I usually use wings to test out new rubs and recipes, sometimes ribs if it’ll be a better rib recipe (like those butter olive oil garlic dry rub ribs a few weeks back.....deeeeelicious). Wings are small and fast, you can try a lot of different methods all at once. Might have to try cheeses that way instead :D

I usually use the Weber chips because they’re easy to come by. My home town has an apple orchard so I’d just go there and get a bundle for a few bucks. Whenever we did a whole pig roast we always fueled it from there. Goooood times.

Doing some brats today. Was going to go the beer and onion bath before grilling. We have a few friends coming over that are picky eaters. I’m doing ribs, brats, and hot dogs for my boy and his friend.
I grabbed 3 2-packs of the professional from Costco yesterday. Need to grab a few blues from lowes today.

Good news chaps. I’ve been growing an isolation beard for a few months now On the premise that I won’t shave or cut my hair until we get back to “normal”. For me that was being able to get lunch at the place up the road at work and eat there. Well. They opened up outdoor seating and I’ll be able to go Wednesday. Hallelujah! Coming home Wednesday to buzz and shave awwwwww yissssss.

I have this style case on my personal and work phone. I prefer the wallet style case but am abusive enough with phones that these are more sensible.

Well.. I'm sure my new phone will have a case on it.. the one I dropped was never meant to be in a case and it survived about 7 years lOL so that's pretty good especially with all the crazy things I do... been in my pocket more than once in a fire etc LOL I'm likely to get the Samsung S20 for a new one.

That’s my problem. I’m so hungry from smelling it and the others are like FEED ME. I forget about pics until it’s about gone. Then I don’t take cause the wife looks at me like I’m special.

I had the flip man. Was expecting 16 hours or so. Put it on last night before bed. Went out a little while ago and it was already done at about 12-13 hours. Probe tender. Now it’s wrapped and stored to rest. Don’t need it till dinner time around 5 but have 3 racks of ribs to go on in a few hours also.

I had so many phones over the years and dropped them all no issues. I have an iPhone 7 now and the screen wraps around instead of the casing wrapping around the screen. So it breaks screens like nobody’s business. I needed two screens within about 6 months or less. So I said screw that and went back to my bolt on cases. They’re hefty when running but otherwise they’re fine. Did drop phone and chipped a ceramic tile once with it though.

I use Otterbox cases on my iphones. I haven’t broken a screen with one. Wife managed to though and after a $200 screen repair she now has a life proof case on it. :)

I forgot about this thread! Recently I grabbed a pitboss pro series 820 to replace my propane grill. Loving it so far. Yesterday I threw down a 11 lb pork shoulder and it came out awesome. Cooked at 250 until 210 IT and rested it for 2 hours. It wasn’t finished at 205 like usual. Here’s some pics
