All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Should an issue arise with that:
You could always use a rubber spacer leaving slack on the end of bolt for movement. I have done that before in which I needed support but not a fixed connection.

I marked it red where it is attached. I used the back rack only and then, will attach rubber feet to the from where they will rest on the front rack bar. Hopefully this will avoid any issues.

All of that said, on my old tent, I had it bolted front to back and had 0 issues.

On another note, off in the distance this am I saw what appeared to be two hotdogs and a burger jogging!

The burger was obscured perfectly by the larger hotdog in the last pic!

What is everyone up to on this sweltering day? Freaking pool is still closed at my place. UGH!! We went to the beltline yesterday and my youngest didn't do too well in the heat!

Just got home from the zoo, it was awesome. Definitely a little different but my son loved it and was nice to support the animals and get out. Timed tickets is great no big crowds or rude kids running everywhere/into you like used to be.

Oh, they're letting people in? My niece is 2 years old and hasn't been. Want to take her up there and let her have fun. Time tickets sound like a wonderful idea, tbh.

Yep! Go at 9 am early get tickets online way before it was getting hot as we finished up. That’s my sons age he loves it. There is a little bit of food and drinks but I would suggest bringing some of your own like we did. Also most buildings and indoor viewing areas are still closed. That kind of sucks but it was no big deal, although the new reptile house is pretty awesome /hate to miss that.
