you should be able to break even in that. I sold my leer for 70% of new price after two years and some chips in the paint/fiberglass

Yeah this was bought new, still under warranty, not a scratch, sportsman edition, auto lock, windoors, the whole thing in like new condition. Should be able to get a good amount for it.

 

Is the gearup code valid for the truss soft top rack? Doesn't work in the cart

To tell you the truth, I looked at their connectors, and where the main waterproof one was, and said screw it, and just cut everything to the lengths I wanted and did a solder/heatshrink job on it. I did keep the three wire run coming down from the light pretty much alone (it is a bit thick, but it fit into the windshield grove ok) I used the outer edge grove closer to to door, not the side closer to the glass, but I think either would work. Anyway, a little application of RTV or regular silicone seems to hold it in there ok. You could cut off the sheath, but you'll want to wrap with electrical tape, and it won't be much thinner than what Extreme sent you (and will probably look worse).

Since there are lots of new racks since I posted these late last year, and the racks are way to nice to drill holes for wire management

Does anyone have a measurement from the top of a cap to top of rail measurement (added height)? I’m trying to figure out if this is low enough for me to fit in a garage with an rtt on top. I’m pretty close as is with Thule bars, but would like to be able to park in a garage. Looking at the ex for a truck cap.
