I was able to get a 2020 pro grille off trdparts but the grille arrived damaged. I was going to returned it but they said they were on back order. bit the bullet and decided to keep the grille with some very visible scuffs. then i had some problems reusing the camera mount screws. they wouldnt screw in all the way so I kinda forced it in. also had some issues with the garnish. the tabs for the retaining push-on lock washer were a bit too short. four hours later and i now have a pro grille and a 2020 sport grille for sale. lol

Yes @yearlaw but can’t you get a TRD Pro Vin from a dealer, like others have said? I don’t know. Just wondering

I didn’t buy the grill yet. But maybe wait until someone comes out with a replica of one, so I don’t have to have a VIN

I waited until Lopez86 posted his process. TRDparts didnt ask for a vin and they were cheaper than sparks. the oem was $200 shipped which isnt much more than the replica but you do have to modify the bracket for the camera. add a garnish for $45 and you are done for approx $250. I also able to sell my sport grille for $170 too.

Just ordered the 2020 Pro grill from Sparks and used a vin# to match a new Pro so there are no issues. I'll be modifying the front camera bracket to work with the new grill until an aftermarket bracket is available to purchase. I've been looking forward to getting this done since I bought the truck 7 months ago!

I would definitely be willing to purchase the 3D printed mount if anyone is making this yet?

Been sitting on my OEM TRD Pro Grill for about 2 weeks and can't wait on someone coming out with a camera bracket.

Just took the leap and cut the bracket on the camera hoping for a tight fit. I was surprised that it aligned really well and flush. I thought it would be loose since not alot of people seem to be doing it, but def. was flush. Added some rubber stops in there just incase. Didn't take pictures of the truck since everyone knows what it looks like. Just the key pieces ...

I think the only reason the top part of the bracket is there for the non-pro is so the Camera housing can snap onto it. Since the Pro has the camera housing built in, its not needed and the camera mount feels pretty secure.

    Hey Crafte,

I'm definitely on the verge of purchasing the 2020 Pro Grille insert and doing the hack you did to make the TRD OF camera fit. Have you experience any issues with the camera coming loss from vibration? Also, what garnish did you purchase for the TSS?

Also, from my understanding, just trim the top of the bracket so it sits flush with the camera and then it should fit fine with the help of a few rubber stops.

    Thanks again!

Pretty much ... I saw a few guys that did the same thing and Lopez86 also has some pics on Pg 5 of this thread as well. I also had the same concern around the camera "rattling" but once i took apart the camera and the original housing, I realized that the the housing was just a cover and didn't provide any support. The camera is really supported by just the bracket. I honestly don't even think you need the rubber stops. I put it in there because it seemed lose before I committed to cutting the bracket, but once I cut the bracket it sat flush and secure. I just left the rubber stops in and started to tighten everything up.

I just put it on by haven't noticed any issues so far. As for the garnish, I went with the one from Amazon. Again no issues with warning indicators so far.

Looks good. I did the same but instead of rubber stops and filled up the gap with double sided tape. I have had for around two months and the camera is still intact

I waited months to see if someone would come up with an alternative to oem route, but I pulled the trigger and went oem and while pricey I'm very happy with it. Shouldn't run into any tss issues(haven't so far)

Just installed the Pro grill with the help of this thread. For the camera, all I did was cut the bracket and bolt it up without any other support and seems to be very secure. I’ll still be waiting on a 3D printed bracket to use whenever someone decides to sell them. The garnish was from Amazon and it still works great, even though it’s not OEM. Everything else fit perfect and now waiting on a clear day to color match the Toyota letters.
