Spindles are riding good, could use some stiffer springs tho

 

You're still on stock spring right?

I plan on going with the spindles and getting some Bilstein 5100's set it 1.75, and then running some 35's.

 

The 35s fit fine with just 4 inches, the backspacing is the biggest key

 

I think I'll get a part time job at the Toyota Dealership as a salesman. This way I could parts cheaper and make some extra $$!

 

Hey everyone, I'm new to TW from Virginia Beach and I've heard this is the thread of local conversations. Do any of you local guys know of any good salvage yards in Hampton Roads (or northeast NC) with toyota and jeep parts? Looking for mirrors for my brother's tacoma, front mud flaps for mine, and a few other misc. parts.

 

but sorry I don't know. I work right behind the place that sells to the salvage yards but must be a dealer to buy from them.....not sure where the cars go What a good business tho....that dude has wrecked cars coming in and auctioned off every day in a steady stream

 

Curious, what's the name of the business and where are they located? A close friend of mine is a manager at Hall and might be able to work something out for me. Although, I'm not really looking for a whole wrecked Toyota... but maybe a Jeep.

not sure of the name....its in Yorktown. Its where ur car ends up if its totaled I guess....then sold to junk yard.

I did call Pick and Pull (and Oceana Salvage) and the best they had were 80's and early 90's pick-ups and 4Runners unfortunately.

I'm really just looking for mirrors (the bigger 1st Gen ones, 2001-2004 I think), front mud flaps, OEM bedliner tailgate piece (not the bedliner itself), and maybe an OEM towing wiring harness with 7-pin box (but I may just go aftermarket on that). Does anyone know anyone with these parts laying around and willing to sell in Hampton Roads?

 

Try ingrams on military thee is some over buy the old ford plant also

Chesapeake Used autoparts on 58 in Suffolk used to have a nice selection of Toyotas

I assume they still do.
