The connector to the pipe in the floor is 1/4" and I can only find 3/8 and 1/2 hoses at the store. They all connect t to 7/8 at the toilet. Back to ho depot to find some 7/8 to 7/8 adapter even if i make some contraption. The valve at the floor is old and I could just replace that so I can have a standard 3/8 or 1/2 connection and get a longer hose, but I'm worried I'll brake it and then were royally fucked with water off till fixed.
