You should be able to pick up denso ones from Rock auto for pretty cheap.

I would suggest trimming the backside of those shrubs so they aren't in contact with the house...get an air gap in there.

Two steps forward, one step back.

My roof lights are still acting up. I ordered a set of (4) HID bulbs from another retailer to see if I can get them all working. I also bought the halogen reflectors from KC and if this doesn't work, I'm converting to halogen to be done with it all.

I broke the radio bezel in the Vette, as I think I mentioned. I ordered a new Metra one from Amazon which came yesterday sans brackets. I had to call them to get a set sent. I decided last night to put the reverse cam in with the existing setup bezel and threw an HDMI cable for fun so when I put the new bezel in it will go faster. It shouldn't have taken me four hours to do something simple, but it totally did, from having the wrong video input, to having splices that didn't work, but it's all buttoned up for now. I can't wait to rip it all back apart and actually fix inside the dash which is why nothing fits correctly. Of course, the HDMI input gave me the vehicle in motion error, which means the bypass my friend had installed either failed, or I didn't hook something up while I was in there, maybe something else needs a ground, I'll figure it out though.

Then my power seat stopped working, which is awesome. It was working intermittently going back and forth only when the height was a certain way. Luckily I've got a space seat module and switch as well as motors. The only thing I don't have is a spare harness, so I will figure out what's up. Just something I didn't want to dig into.

I'm building the swingset for the kids tomorrow, so hopefully that goes smoothly.

Next project. Turns out we over estimated the river rock needed so we ended up actually doing it around the tree in the front yard. So now I need to go get more cobblestone to edge that out probably after work later next week.

hedge trimmer stopped working and then cathartically ended up underneath a sledge hammer. Will get a new one soon.

I have a lot of hedges including an 80 yard row shared with the neighbors...after 3 years it's finally shaped decently. I invested in one of these and never looked back...it's heavy as hell, and after a few hours you won't be able to lift your arms..but it's amazing...
I cut them to shape in march before the leaves are out, and then I'll trim them again to shape probably next weekend...

It's always something, that's for sure. Still trying to get my ACS Pro Rotor taken apart to service the bearings etc.

What swingset did you end up with?

I found one at BJs, has dual regular slides and a tube slide. Bren’s going to lose her mind when it’s built.

Hey this Harbor Freight pressure washer does the job! The vinyl siding on the north side of the house likes to grow algae...

    Morning everyone!

Anyones towns doing parades or anything still? Our fire department is doing a town wide cruise in their trucks and I'm guessing some people and tractors will be following, but we will see. Going to set up by the road to cheer them on :oldglory::oldglory::oldglory:

Then pool party at my brothers, not a swimmer really so I'll be hanging on the deck. Plus water at 68 degrees is a little chilly for my soft self.:anonymous:

Hope everyones having fun this weekend!

yeah the town is doing a drive by style. Not sure of the plans but they’re meeting somewhere and then looping to all of the war memorials in town.

I did some social distancing on my motorcycle with my dad this weekend. They’re in upstate NY, I love motorcycling there. So much more relaxing than where we live in MA.

Sanded the primer with 400 grit, 4 cans of Rust-Oleum later they are black. Doing the bottom of them tomorrow. Then let them cure for a week, than another 400 grit wipe down and many cans of Rust-Oleum bed coating

I still have 2 cans so I could do that but last time I painted it the bed liner didn't fade for the 3 years they were on but that was duplicolor I used last time

I'm not sure what part of NY is considered upstate, but route 9 in Hudson is nice. I had seen a few nice parts on my way to Canuckistan too, but I don't reminder where they were.
