With that weight you're carrying, I'd definitely suggest the 111-R's to properly support it at the correct lift height. Assuming it's a short bed?

I can't say how they work with the long travel shocks though, as these pretty much max out with the shocks we use (GS59-940) under their own weight. Bigger/heavier tires and wheels would help pull the springs down for more travel though I'd say.

So most all of my edc (tools, recovery gear, 285/70r17 spare, etc.) items are out in the photos/install.
Took pre-leaf measurement off the hitch bottom:
    Before 16.25"
    After 19"
    20200524_163323.jpg 20200524_163356.jpg

Install of the L59-111-R leafs went pretty smooth. Drilled out the e-brake bracket to mount using the @cubie fix a la the front bracket bolt.20200524_152132.jpgI ended up using some formula 5 poly bushing grease that was at the inlaws, turns out to be some pretty tacky goodness!!! Even saw torture tests using a pressure washer.

Awesome to hear as far as the lift goes. Curious how you are liking the ride? Do you plan on testing them in the dirt soon?

Think this is the pack Im going to go with.

So I drove home 30 miles interstate then 8 miles of country and dirt/washboard road I live off.

Overall impressed, the ride without the extra 150-225 lbs in the rear tonight was firmer in a positive sense. Not "stiff" over bumpy overpasses. Our paved "ripple" road we take after the interstate was again firmer in a softer felt ripple sections if that makes sense. I also have Archive Garage's hammer hammers, and a cross tube which did a heck of job of removing lots of back end shutter/jittering.

I will see if I can take if on my in-law property, the back field path is always really rutted in several areas...just gotta clear it to avoid range days!

I am trying to convince the wife that we need to get up on some mountain views and drive out on some forest and unmaintained roads where we backpack and camp (prior to having our nearly 5 month old)...but that's another matter all unto itself.

Would be top 3 mods, highly recommend them, also went with his ubolt and bump stop options. Eric at Archive makes pure BEEF products. The felt (be it actual or perceived) jittering, shimmering is gone more or less. I would compare it more to feeling like I'm driving an SUV (unibody vs. truck bed and cab).

What’s the e-brake fix? Can you post a link to the post explaining the fix. I’ll be installing my leafs in the next couple weeks and any info is much appreciated.

No reason to be shy on those. Every Australian truck that runs out into the middle of nowhere pretty much runs twin tubes. They're extremely tough shocks.

Trying to get 2" in front with a 1"rake in the rear. Maybe 296 & 574 up front with 599 & 705 in rear?

    Actually...

Looks like 302 & 700 up front with
505 & 705 in back may be better?

You know if that's a true 2.5" or a 2-3, depending on the day of the week, I'm stock right now, no extra weight

Anyone running their Dobinsons without the front sway bar? #swaybardelete

curious to see if it’s smoother, flex? Bottom out?

A friend of mine just took his off, but he's also running the MRA 3-way adjustables, so it's probably not a fair comparison. He said it was more comfortable when wheeling, but he firmed up his compression valving when on the highway to reduce the sway.

Forgive the possible stupid question, but what is the purpose of the greasable bolt for the leaf bushings? Wouldn't it just be greasing in between the sleeve and the bolt? I thought you want grease getting between the bushing and the sleeve/ shackle
