looking good:thumbsup:. I personally fabb'd up a bedside mount for my hi-lift but that looks like an awesome solution too. if i had a bed rack or a roof rack, i'd deff look into going that route. i still need to get a handle keeper though. been meaning to order one but it just hasn't happened yet. maybe i'll remember tonight:rolleyes:. what was your solution to keeping it from getting stolen? that's been my concern that's kept me from keeping it on the bed 24/7. i just put it on when i go out exploring, but once i get the canopy back on then i'll put it on full time.

Lmao... I might figure out a cable to go through it when I'm at some place ghetto. But my sleepy little neighborhood? I've had a Stihl chainsaw sitting in the bed for a week. Half the time I forget to lock my truck and/or my truck boxes.

At work, I'm pretty much always where I can see my truck. And I'm good with all the guys I have working for me, and they know no one fucks with my truck... they'd tell me if something was up, and then bust out the popcorn and watch the show... lol

yah, i live in a pretty sleepy and somewhat affluent neighborhood, but unfortunately the fact that many people are comfortable not locking their cars at night means that people who'd take advantage of that come to my area whenever they're looking to engage in some sketchy activity. We've had a number of cars broken in too in our area, including my mom's car a couple of years ago. actually my neighbor's car got broken in to about a month ago:eek:. not that any sketchy characters in seattle would have much use for a hi-lift, or anywhere to offload it easily:rofl:. perhaps i'm just being paranoid, but the $95 to replace it is something i'd rather not spend money on.:notsure:
Glad to hear that's not an issue for you though! my dad lives in a slightly more rural area and never locks anything unless he's going out of town. boy would I like to have that peace of mind:rolleyes:
Damn that's beautiful. if you don't mind me asking whereabouts is that? not that i'm expecting you to give all your secrets up:D but that sure is pretty!

Just to be clear... wasn't suggestin you live in the ghetto :hattip:

We live in a rural, small town with more Sheriffs than we need. Plus most of the Law Enforcement in this area likes to live here. We get a Sheriff drive by 2 or 3 times a night. And the town is notorious for "if you don't belong here, stay the fuck out."

If the Sheriff doesn't recognize your vehicle here after about 10 at night... chances are about 50% he'll light you up to say "hi." lol

No problem! the thought didn't even cross my mind in fact:thumbsup:. it's actually kind of sad that it's becoming less and less possible to get away from this kind of petty crime while still living in the greater urban area. without living in a gated community of course but realistically i wouldn't even want to live in one of those if i could. not that i diss on people who live there, i go to school (or went LMAO:D) with people who do... just not my cup of tea. i'll be moving to a small(er) town next year for school so i'm looking forward to hopefully not having to worry as much. course, then i'll have to deal with drunk partygoers and frat boys so who knows:rofl::rolleyes:.

I attempted to do the Power Steering Flush and Screen Clean that @Timmah! demonstrated...I got the flush done, but should have tested my reservoir bolts FIRST, because, don't ya know one of those little fuckers had rounded ears and I couldn't get it off without destroying it and I did not have a replacement. DAMMIT!

Note: Since I was doing this solo, I did the flush without starting the truck...I got it on Jack Stands and then ran the thing lock to lock without motor running. Worked out just fine.

Not surprising really. 1/4'' bends like anything. Can try and straighten it out but honestly if you really use your skids you'll have to rebuild/replace them every 5-8 years.

Try lifting the clutch pedal up with your foot. Common for it to not come up all the way and push in the clutch cancel button.

I wish my lady did that. But instead she passes out on the couch for 1-5 hours and gets super mad at any little noise I make or anything else for that matter lol I give up. Just tell her to go to bed like she should have 4 hours ago..

Im drooling over this: https://www.highvoltageaudio.net/eqs.html#main Have been for weeks. really want to get it. It's actually really cheap but I shouldn't if Im trying to buy a house...still..

If it's a V6 with a manual transmission try lifting up on the clutch pedal and see if the cruise will set.
